The familiar green tree with wrapped presents underneath and the frustrated children, and adults, wanting to see what’s inside. The abundant food. The hot cocoa or coffee. The twinkling lights. The decorated stores. The muffled shivers as you walk in the cold night. The bustling streets as people Christmas shop. The uttered string of curses towards the ridiculous long lines. The grumbles as you try to gift-wrap. The exchanged smiles. The little darlings staying up late and putting cookies and milk for Santa. However you celebrate it, everything about Christmas is simply wonderful. It’s my favorite time of the year. ❞
